Monsoon humidity changes how fragrances behave — sometimes the scent fades faster or becomes heavier. Use these simple habits to get consistent performance.
- Moisturize first. Perfume lasts longer on hydrated skin. Use unscented body lotion or matching-scent body cream.
- Apply to pulse points under clothes. Wrists, behind knees and inner elbows hold scent but aren’t washed away quickly.
- Avoid rubbing wrists together. Rubbing damages the top notes and shortens longevity.
- Store bottles properly. Keep them away from direct sun and heat; a cool, dark cabinet is best.
- Choose stronger concentrations. Eau de Parfum or parfum concentrates work better in humidity than EDT.
- Use layering — matching body wash, lotion and perfume concentrate for a longer trail.
